Lagotto Romagnolo Description
It has large circular eyes which will either be dark brown or yellow in color. The color of the coat will almost always be white, though it may have a variety of different shades and textures. Some Lagottos will have brown coats, and this is acceptable as well. The texture of the coat is wooly and can be likened to that of a lamb. It has ears that feature a triangle shape at the base but are round at the tips. The front legs of the ideal Lagotto should always be straight.
These dogs were originally bred to search for truffles. In fact, it is the only dog breed in the world that was specifically bred for this purpose.
