Peruvian Hairless Dog Description
As the name implies, these dogs do not have coats, and this is the most important thing that is measured in dog shows. Though there is a version of this dog that does have a full coat, it is not recognized by any dog shows. The acceptable skin colors for this breed are chocolate, grey, copper, or dark brown. The eye colors of these dogs should be directly connected to the color of their skin. This dog comes in the Miniature, Medium, and Large variety. While it is commonly believed that these dogs were first bred by the Inca, there is also evidence that this breed existed before the rise of the Inca civilization.
