Saluki Dog

The Saluki is a patient dog that can be loving. They will have a tendency to become attached to a single individual and are good with mature children. This dog doesn’t like to be treated roughly, and may not work well with young children. Owners will want to affectionately train this dog. They do not respond well to harsh training methods. Even when they are trained, they can be strong-willed and will not always follow commands. Saluki enjoys being around other dogs that are the same breed. While they will not easily attack people, they will hunt animals that are not dogs. They will need to be trained in order to weaken this instinct.
