In north of the district, Hyderabad and Tando Allahyar districts ar located; Badin district lies on south and east; and West boundary is shared by district Thatta. The Indus flows through Northwest. Tando Muhammad Khan district includes the 3 talukas of Tando Muhammad Khan (also the most important city within the district), Bulri sovereign Karim and Tando Ghulam Hyder.
