  • About
  • Sukkur (Sindhi: سکر‎; Urdu: سکھر‬‎) is a city in the Pakistani territory of Sindh along the western bank of the Indus River, straightforwardly opposite the noteworthy city of Rohri. Sukkur is the third biggest city in Sindh after Karachi and Hyderabad, and is twelfth most crowded city in Pakistan.[1] New Sukkur was built up amid the British period close by the town of Sukkur. Sukkur's slope, alongside the slope on the stream island of Bukkur, frame what is once in a while considered the "Entryway of Sindh,"[2] in reference to the city's area along the wilderness that isolates the verifiable Sindhi heartland from the Saraiki-talking locales toward the north.
