- Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro (May 7, 1959-November 29, 2014) was a religious leader of Pakistan, He was born in a religious family in the beautiful Akil village surrounded by thick guava orchards close to the Indus river near Larkano.[1]He was the Senator of JUI-F from Sindh in Senate of Pakistan.[2]
